The home of the Big Mac is getting a new look.
McDonald's is currently undergoing its biggest store-by-store makeover in the fast food chain's history.
USA Today reports McDonald's will remodel most of its U.S. restaurants by replacing fiberglass tables with wood ones, adding more comfortable chairs, adding flat screen televisions, and installing more contemporary lights.
The chain also wants to replace many of the bright red roofs at its restaurants, and add more subtle paint inside.
Other changes are planned too.
Company officials say they want McDonald's to become a place customers will want to stay and lounge for a while, rather than just grab a quick bite to eat.
