A new Mexican restaurant is making plans to set up shop in Lexington, creating dozens of new jobs.

Officials with Chuy's say they will open a new location on 3841 Nicholasville Centre Drive, near Nicholasville Road, on August 30.

Chuy's is now accepting applications for full and part-time hourly positions. The restaurant plans to hire 150 employees in Lexington.

People interested in applying for the jobs are asked to stop by a hiring trailer, which has been set up beside the restaurant.

The hiring trailer will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for people to fill out an application and meet with managers.

Chuy's is a restaurant chain based in Austin, Texas. This will be the chain's first restaurant in Lexington.
