There's a consumer alert involving new BlackBerry tablets.
Research in Motion is recalling about 1,000 of its Playbook tablet computers.
Some models may have defective operating software that can prevent users from setting up the device.
Only 16-gigabyte models are affected by the recall.
Tablets that have the issue will be replaced free of charge.
