DETROIT, MI. (WKYT) - Officials say a Detroit-based business has recalled 1.8 million pounds of ground beef.
They say it may be contaminated with E. Coli. Officials say the affected meat came from Wolverine Packing Products, and was produced between March 31 and April 18. They were shipped to distributors in Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio.
So far, the Food Safety and Inspection Service says 11 illnesses have been reported.
