House takes up health care repeal this week

WASHINGTON (AP) - Just one out of four people in a new AP survey say they want to completely do away with the health care reform law.

The poll comes as members of Congress prepare to get back to work tomorrow, with the House expected to vote Wednesday in favor of a repeal of the law.

The effort was delayed for more than a week following the shootings in Tucson, Arizona, in which Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was critically wounded.

Republicans are intent on framing health care repeal as a central issue in the 2012 election campaign, when the presidency and control of Congress are again up for grabs.
