- Over at Harlan County, Tom Larkey (250 wins) will be facing Leslie Co. head coach Ediie Melton (1 win) tonight @ 7:30pm

- #3 Johnson Central head coach Jim Matney returns to Sheldon Clark for the first time as a head coach since Nov. 7th, 2003

- Mike Holcomb (#5 Breathitt Co) will go up against his pupil Justin Haddix (Perry Central) in the battle of unbeatens at Perry
