This is a look at this year's Apple Bowl from the perspective of Johnson Central.

For the Golden Eagles, its another year of dominance for this 5A powerhouse as they look to take five straight from the Tigers of Paintsville. This group has always been a confident one and this year is no different. It has always been said that a good team with take on the personality o their head coach and for the last couple of year, the Golden Eagles have done just that.

If you have ever spoken with head coach Jim Matney, you would know that he is not really a "rah rah" type of coach. He is more of a laid back type of guy who gives off a cool, calm oura about himself. And that is exactly how the Golden Eagles seem to be week in and week out. They take care of business, but do it in a cool and calm manner.

With a win over Paintsville last year, 49-15, the Golden Ealges look to continue their success as no one on this current team has tasted defeat to their cross town rival of Paintsville.
