Believing in Big Blue

The Cats have suffered through numerous amounts of injuries this season, but still continue to play a role in the S.E.C and battle for yet again, another Bowl bid.

Aaron Boyd was quoted walking off the field at the end of the game as saying that you have to believe in Big Blue, and the fans showed how much they didn't believe in the team by leaving before the game was over . The UK faithful left the game as the Cats fell behind 20-7 with ten minutes left to play in the fourth quarter.

The comeback by the Cats along with what the Boyd and the rest of the Cats players thought about the fans leaving led me to thinking.

You ever run across someone that tells you that you can not do something, and that in return leads you to do exactly what they told you, you couldn't? Well, that is what the Cats did on Saturday night. Most college football experts have not really been high on the Cats, even after they started the season 4-0. And to be honest, it was kind of hard to be in their corner. I mean realistically, the Cats had not played anyone really, with the exception being, maybe Louisville, and the offense, for a better word has been horrid. The defense has been carrying the team all year and its hard to do that game in and game out. You can not win a game win you do not score.

But maybe, just maybe the Cats have awoken. With the loss of Dicky Lyons and Derrick Locke, could the Cats now be ready to put some points on the board? If the last five minutes of the game is any indication, it could be a very interesting final five games.

But first, can they get past those pesky Florida Gators? I would love to know what everyone thinks.
