It's baseball and softball time in the Mountains and I would like to hear from you.

The bats and balls are out of the bags and the players are on the diamond (well not today because the weather is bad). There are several players and teams that I am intune with. Here is what I know:

* I know that Bell County is the favorite in the 13th Region baseball chase, but Clay County is right on their heels.

* I know that North Laurel is probably the favorite in the 13th Region softball chase... again.

* The 14th Region baseball title is up for grabs between 4 teams: Letcher Central, Perry Central, Hazard and Estill County.

* Estill County has won every 14th Region softball title since joining the 14th a few years back.

* Lawrence County won the 15th Region Title last year and lost in the State Championship game. They will look to defend that title.

* Speaking of Lawrence County... Chandler Shepherd is a true talent on the mound for the Bulldogs, and he's only a Sophomore.

* Derek Forrest says this is East Ridge's year for softball in the 15th Region with Lawrence County and Shelby Valley on their tale.

These are just a couple of notes that I know. What do you know that I should know? Do you know what I saying? Okay enough of that. Let's hear from you.
