Thoughts - Rich Brooks said the only positive thing about facing Alabama instead of Florida is they are easier to scout.  They run a more standard offense.  He also said that Alabama's physical style of play on both sides of the ball will test UK's manhood.  The Crimson Tide are tough to stop because they can beat you either on the ground or through the air.  They have several deep receiving threats and have 3 backs who can put up big yards on the ground.  This will be a test of wills up front and at the linebacker position for UK.  The Cats held 'Bama to 10 points of offense last season, but Rich Brooks also said that game has nothing to do with this years game.

UK is taking one interesting step this week.  They are using their first string offense against their first string defense.  That doesn't happen often at Kentucky. "We had a lot of 'ones' vs. 'ones,'" Coach Rich Brooks said.  "We'll find out (if it went well) on Saturday."

Well said coach.
