I sincerely hope that John Wall does not win the SEC Freshman of the Week honor again this week.  He doesn't deserve it.  You heard me right.  He deserves better!

It's about time he starts winning the SEC Player of the Week award.  Yes, week in and week out he is the best Freshman in the SEC.  But also happens to be the best Player in the SEC.

He has proven it on several occasions.  There is no one better right now at taking over a game.  His season high 25 point performance against #14 UConn in the Garden proves that.  He scored 12 of the teams final 15 points, including a driving lay-up to put UK in the drivers seat in the final minute.

He controls the game not only on with his scoring but his passing.  Witness his 14 assist performance earlier in the season.  That is only 1 off the UK record.

Lets see which award the SEC gives him this week.

(As a side note, I have been very happy with the play of Ramon Harris this season.  His 4 rebounds a game are 3rd on the Wildcats.)

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
