The North Laurel softball program became the first team to reach the 500 win plateau in softball back on April 22nd win they defeated Southwestern. Since then, they have tacked on 8 more wins and currently sit at 508.

North Laurel has shown their region in both the 12th region and 13th regions since the inception of softball back in 1995. During that stretch the Lady Jaguars have won 11 region titles. North Laurel finished runner-ups in the state twice, back in 2000 and then again in 2008.

North Laurel won the state title in 2001, then under head coach Jimmy Durham.
