The basketball season has been over for several months now, and there are still some coaching vacancies that have yet to be filled. Lets take a look:

13th Region:

Clay County boys

Kevin Spurlock left Manchester for Inez as he will take over at Sheldon Clark.

Harlan Independent girls

Chuck Mitchell stepped down just  a couple of weeks ago, leaving this job up for grabs.

Middlesboro boys

The last I heard on this one was there were numerous candidates (32) in the running.

14th Region:

Wolfe County girls,

Coach Brown is out, so it opens up a position for a team that finished the year 12-14.

15th Region:

Lawrence County boys and girls

Both of these positions came up pretty much at the same time. Coach Anderson (boys coach) went down the road (pretty much) to Boyd County.

Phelps boys

Clay Campbell is no longer the head man as the Hornets program will be looking for someone to fill his shoes.

Shelby Valley boys

Jason Booher left for Covington and is now the new head man over at Holmes.
