Orton's stock continues to fall according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports - "There's a great deal of uncertainty and caution surrounding Kentucky center Daniel Orton, who has cancelled several workouts in the final days before the draft, but has tentatively planned a visit with Indiana on Tuesday ... League executives say Orton has been out of shape and struggling with knee issues during the predraft process."


Jenkins has announced Eric Ratliff, former head basketball coach at East Ridge as the new boys basketball coach.

Eddie Melton will be the new Leslie County football coach.  It is Melton's first head coaching job.  The Leslie County grad has been an assistant coach for several seasons, including the last few with the Eagles.



 UNDATED (AP) - Free agent outfielder Gary Matthews Jr. and the Cincinnati Reds are close to a deal, a week after the New York Mets released the former All-Star. Matthews would likely get a minor league contract. Cincinnati would be Matthews' eighth team.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville has signed a five-year contract extension with Adidas that will have the Cardinals wearing Adidas apparel and footwear through the 2014-15 academic seasons.  Adidas will outfit all 23 of Louisville's varsity sports, including football and men's and women's basketball.
