Here's a look at the coaching shuffle going on in the mountains.

So far, these are teams that have made changes in the off-season. Three coaching spots remain open. Of course, there is always the possibility of more jobs to open up before the fall.

Two Mid-South Conference football teams will have a new leader come the fall football season. John Bland left Cumberlands after their runner-up finish in the NAIA National Championship game for the head coaching job at Division II Mississippi College. The Patriots have a former player, and Graduate Assistant filling Bland's shoes in Matt Rhymer. Rhymer spent 1 year coaching the South Laurel Cardinals in London.

After 18 years with the Union Bulldogs, Tommy Reid resigned this past winter. Zak Willis was appointed the new leader over in Barbourville. This is Willis' third head coaching job (Newberry and Pikeville College).
