NBA Summer League tips off Saturday

Through the month of July, four former Kentucky Wildcats will be participating in the league.

NBA Summer League play kicked off Saturday morning from Orlando. Through the month of July, four former Kentucky Wildcats will be participating in the league.

First game of the day started bright and early at 9am between the Nets and the Pacers. Marquis Teague played 21 minutes had 14 points on six assists as Brooklyn beat Indiana 101-81.

Second game on the day was the Heat and the Celtics. James Young selected 17th overall to Boston did not play because of a strained neck. Boston beat Miami, 85-77.

Third game, Nerlens Noel returned to the hardwood for the Philadelphia 76ers. Noel played 26 minutes notched 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. Orlando beat Philly, 83-77.

Julius Randle and the Lakers will hit the court in Las Vegas on July 11th where they take on the Toronto Raptors.
