The Letter "E"... (so you know this is going to be Exceptional :)

EXTREME STADIUMS: (largest capacities)

  • (#1) INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY...built 1909 in...you guessed it...Indianapolis, Indiana! (capacity of 250,000+)...used for motor sports
  • (#2) TOKYO RACECOURSE...built in 1933 in Tokyo (duh)...(capacity of 223,000)...used for horse racing of all things? (Not as cool as Churchill...see below or Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky)

(Tokyo Racecourse)

(Keeneland...what up trees bloomin'!...I see you)

  • (#3) SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT...2004...(capacity of 200,000)...built in Shanghai (there's a pattern here)...motor sports
  • (#4) DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY...built in 1959...Daytona Beach, Florida...(168,000 capacity)...motor sports
  • skip a few because they bore me...and they'd bore you too so don't worry...
  • HEY...CHURCHILL DOWNS (#7)...built in 1895 (take that 1-6...and yes #5 and #6 weren't before...just have faith!)...used for horse racing (The Kentucky Derby...Breeders Cup...etc.)...(163,628 official capacity)

  • Not gonna lie...stopped caring until I hit (#24) MICHIGAN STADIUM...college football...built in 1927 in Ann Arbor, Michigan...(capacity of 107,501)
  • And here's where I really lost interest...Penn State, Tennessee, Ohio State all up there but who really cares?

EXTINCTION...KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN?!

(the following is a list of extinct NFL teams believe it or not...)

  • Kenosha Maroons (1924)...couldn't tell you what and why the existed in the first place!
  • Louisville Brecks/ Louisville Colonels (1921-23, 1926)  Some great talent...but Kentucky Colonels basketball was the better name for sure

  • Hammond Pros (1920-26)...bet they existed so long because they played the Hammond Joes...what up Owensboro! (inside joke for my guy D Rock)
  • Dayton Triangles (1920-29)...they went to Bermuda and never came back!

That thing is huge! never going there...Miami apparently part of it...explains the Lebron James no championship thing though I guess (yep...said it...I actually like the heat though...just not the sticky, humid kind)

  • Cincinnati Reds (1933-34)...showed up for a baseball game...
  • Brooklyn Dodgers (1930-43, 1944)...again with the baseball teams showing up to play football...that's why we shouldn't make stadiums dual purpose...very confusing for the athletes
  • Baltimore Colts (1950)...they moved to Indy to become horses!
  • Dallas Texans (1952)...realized their mascot was unoriginal and did everyone a favor! Then Houston ruined it by being even more unoriginal and using the name again...Thanks Houston!
