If you are a prostate cancer survivor, I need your help.

 

Next Thursday night, Dec. 2nd, we are taping a public service announcement at WKYT on Winchester Road. I need a group of men to stand with me for the taping of this 15 -second spot. It will focus on the importance of early detection, awareness, and education about prostate cancer. We will meet at 7pm, and should be done by 7:45. Dress is casual. You will not have to say anything on camera. This is about standing together to show strength in the face of cancer, and to spread the word to save lives. It will be seen in December on WKYT and the CWKT.

I also want to thank all of you who have sent wonderful notes of support. By going public, I hope more men will be aware of being educated about the risks of prostate cancer.

 

My surgery is Dec. 9th, and your support gives me strength as that day gets closer.
