Once again... we are expecting some pretty hot conditions in Kentucky. There is another heat advisory out for parts of our region. This only includes a few counties, but the heat will be felt by all!

Only a few counties are included in this latest installment of a Heat Advisory. The targeted areas will likely experience an extended period of heat & humidity. Don't let Mother Nature fool you... just because the advisory covers other conuties is not a reason to let your guard down!

This area will see a longer period of heat indices around 100-105 than the rest of us. That's why the advisory is out for those counties you see above.

Here are the basics:

  • Heat Indices will end up between 100-105
  • This primary time for this will be around 2pm-7pm
  • Non-Advisory counties will see max Heat Indices right around 100

The threat for scattered showers & storms will be present beginning on Tuesday and running into the weekend.
