Excessive Heat Warning Pushed Into The Weekend

Since Tuesday, parts of our region have been under some type of heat advisory or warning. Now, that continues into our weekend.

Afternoon temperatures on Thursday were in the mid-90's and heat indicies were 100+. This trend sticks around for both Friday and Saturday. Not only that, but we'll have to deal with more scattered showers and thunderstorms. And at anytime, some of those could be strong or severe. Then throw in a splash of heavy rain, and we have ourselves a complete weather mess.
