Rain Arrives

Posted: Tue 10:49 PM, Aug 17, 2010

The rain arrived right on schedule on Tuesday evening. The rain pushed all the way to the Hal Roger's Parkway.

This forecast excited me just a little. The way that 10 miles made the difference between rain and just cloud cover reminded me of the winter time with the rain/snow line. Just waiting to see how far north the showers ended up was like the highlight of the past 3 weeks of weather for me. I know... it's lame! LOL

High pressure is trying to keep the rain south of KY again on Wednesday. There will be bit of a battle around the KY /TN border with the rain probably winning. This time I think more folks could end up wet.

EURO Wednesday Afternoon              GFS Wednesday Afternoon            NAM Wednesday Afternoon

These all three look very similar again. Agin the EURO is a little more agressive with the rain. Both the NAM & GFS have the high weakening enough to allow the moisture to come into play all across KY. EURO is out there just a little, but overall I trust what I see!

C-Ya Bye
