AP CEO calls records seizure unconstitutional
2 mins ago - The president and CEO of The Associated Press says the government's seizure of AP journalists' phone records was "unconstitutional" and already has had a chilling effect on newsgathering.
It has been a while since we were all wet at the same time. The showers that have developed here lately have been pretty hit and miss. Not to worry... I am feeling pretty good about the rain starting Friday night and lasting into the weekend. As far as rainfall is concerned... we are behind on the year!

You will notice that the U.S. Drought Monitor doesn't have us in any type of drought. I agree! We do need the rainfall... but things could certainly be worse.

Governor Steve Beshear requested disaster assistance for 35 counties, most of them in western Kentucky. As you can see by the image above... they do fall in to that category.
If you take a look at the following forecasts you will see that rain will be coming soon!
HPC QPF

GFS Rainfall

That's showing at least a couple of inches by the end of the weekend.
Temps could really suffer if this system gets cranked up and keeps semi-steady rain in the area.
I'll have more for you later!
