The frontal boundary will completely slip through Kentucky and allow the dry air to mix in once again. At this point... it looks very calm this weekend. It's sad that my one bumo in the road for the forecast is over. Oh well...

Rainfall Amounts

We really didn't see snything too extreme with the rainfall. It might have sounded that way at your house early on Thursday morning, but the end result was light accumulations. Just think of this as a much need drink of water. Trust me... every little bit helps!

The next several days remain dry and comfortable. Daytime highs will only be in the 70s on Friday and low and mid 80s by the weekend. There are three interesting things to look forward to this month.

1. Heat returns next week - Highs around 90
2. Much cooler air within the next 2 weeks
3. The tropical system that I mentioned in my last post

Let's check that system out again...

Again... I want to stress that this is still pretty far out. The runs have been pretty consistent with the development and the track has varied some. BUT... it has stayed very close to us each time I look this far out. Here's a comment from one of you..

Dude, if it was Winter, I'd be salivating at the sight of that map. Unfortunately 1, it's not Winter and 2. it's the GFS at 348. We'd still be digging out from storms last winter if we had paid attention to the GFS at 348 LOL

Justin... You are absolutely right! If I was seeing this about 2 days before arrival in December-April I'd say something I never ever say... GET TO THE GROCERY STORE... YOU MIGHT BE STUCK A WHILE...LOL   As it is we are watching this system for late September early October which ultimately means that we are dealing with something more tropical. This run is 360 hrs out and trust me when I say this might not even develop. This is sure fun to watch when a model is picking up on it like the GFS has been. I am going to keep watching this each day until either something develops or this thing is a total bust!
