Police: Drunk driver hits police cruiser
Updated: 7:50 AM - A Lexington Police cruiser was hit by another car during a traffic stop.
These temps aren't going to put a cramp in anyone's style. What we will have coming our way will actually be pretty comfortable. Highs in the mid and upper 70s and lows generally in the 50s. The catch will be how quickly this will happen. Friday 90 and Saturday 75ish!
A cold front will once again swing across Kentucky and bring rian chances to the region. That same system will be the downfall of our summer!
Friday's Highs

Saturday's Highs

The heat of Summer is on the run! I have looked at some long range runs and I keep seeing some pretty cool air filtering into Kentucky by early October. Around two weeks ago I was seeing that same cool airmass in here for late September. It has moderated quite a bit compared to what the original data was spitting out. It'll still be cool when you look at where we have been leading up to the arrival.
If the data stays true... we could be talking about frost early in October for some. There is still plenty of time for this to change, but it's always something to talk about.
With the end of fall here I'll share some tidbits.

For the last week the GFS keeps pulling a tropical system into the U.S. and the remnants keep showing up here in Kentucky. I have been monitoring this... now each run has been pretty imteresting. The track changes and some of the other characteristics change, but it keeps showing up!

For other tropical stuff just check this out!

Predictions for the system in the Caribbean have it all over the place. At the point of this writing... it hasn't developed. The image will update and reflect any changes that may occur.
