So here it is like 3am and I am online checking out what's going on in the weather world. My checking this stuff out has me in the mood to post. Here I am and here's your post.
Before I even talk about weather.... have you noticed all of the other blogs that we now have on our web channel? Make sure you go visit them and see if one of them will grab your attention. If not you just keep coming back to this one and I think the world will be well... haha.
You have been hearing a lot about Gustav here in the last few days. There is a good reason for all of this media attention. First, this storm is headed right into very warm water. It wil be that warm water that can fuel the storms appetite for destruction. Second, the fact that it could very well make a U.S. landfall along the Gulf. Lives could be at risk! Third, just the mention of this storm and it's potential has caused oil prices to climb again. The big reason being... this storm could go to the top of the scale. I am talking the potential is there for this one to become a Category 5 storm. Remember that means winds 156 MPH or higher! It will likely make landfall early next week... If that isn't enough... Hanna is also out there and looking to become a Hurricane as well! Here's Gustav's path forecast from the National Hurricane Center
