Now For The Comfort Factor

Posted: Mon 10:08 PM, Sep 15, 2008

Well... if you are a fan of the cooler fall-like days like me then you can say comfort factor! It looks like that's exactly what we are going to get around these parts. The cooler & drier days are all I have for you in this forecast.

Believe it or not... we are wrapping up the final full week of Summer. It's actually hard to believe that we are finally staring down the barrel of yet another Autumnal Equinox. Before you know it Winter will be knocking on our door. This summer has flown right on by at what seems like the speed of light! That's OK by me though. The only interesting things I ever run into during the summer months are scattered thunderstorms and super hot days. Other than that... weather stays on the dull side for this old cat.

With the passage of Ike this past weekend we have entered into a very calm & cooler pattern. As Ike moved by it also brought a cold front through the region. It has been swallowed up by one and now that front has gone through Kentucky. This allowed the drying of the air and the cooler stuff to come our way. High pressure sits to our west and is really keeping everything held in place. I am feeling pretty confident that we'll only break 80 degrees a couple of times this week. IF THAT!!!! For the most part I am leaning towards lows in the 50s and highs in the mid to upper 70s. With no real chance for rain!

That's all I have got for you now... check back soon!

C-Ya Bye
