Here's the breakdown on the good old forecast for the folks in eastern Kentucky. Wednesday-Thursday will be like any other day we have had over the last 2 weeks. Sunny and dry! That's the most important part of the forecast... that it is going to be dry around here yet again. That's exactly what we do not need to see! A friend of mine works at one of the water offices in eastern Kentucky and has said that things are looking pretty rough in the whole water works world. Since I don't want to cause a panic I won't mention which county here since the conversation was off of the record. So we are slowly beginning to see more and more counties concern level climbing. Of course I am not completely sold on the rain arriving here on Friday, but I do think that there is a better shot than we have seen in a while. Which really isn't saying very much at all. I'll take whatever I can get though. Some of the models are trying to get on the same track with the rain chances around here. This is a whole lot better that where they were. This is one of the things we wait for when processing all of this data... the coming together stage! What we are seeing in each is a low developing along the east coast and it then makes a run inland. That's where that wonderful moisture could be coming from.
