Boy Scouts approve plan to accept openly gay boys
Updated: 6:37 PM - The Boy Scouts of America's National Council has voted to ease a long-standing ban and allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts.
What do you think about lows in the 40s? I think that's pretty darn chilly if you ask me! But I didn't ask myself I asked you and I am sure that most of you will say the same thing. The reason I asked such a question is because that's what we will be getting round here later this week. I feel confident that several nights this week will dip well into the 40s with some communities dipping into the upper 30s. Well the upper 30s part is an isolated type of deal. IT could still very well happen though.
A cold front is expected to push through Kentucky by Tuesday night. This allows some much cooler air to come ushering in and really bringing the chill to the mountains. If that's not enough... the low that drags the front across the commonwealth will stick around for a few days. What that'll mean for us will be cooler temps. I think clouds may have a pretty decent presence, especially in our northern skies! Last week I thought the low would become cut-off from the main flow in the atmosphere. Now I am not so sure about that happening. It just looks as if it stays stationary around the Great Lakes region for a few days. As long as it sits there it will be pumping in a northern wind and that keeps us chilly.
FUN SNOW FACT: If this same type of situation happens in the winter (Which is when it happens most) we would see a daily shot of snow showers!
BACK TO THE FRONT
This front will arrive moisture starved so I think that any chance of rain will be extremely isolated on Tuesday. As I have said before... any little bit helps... but it would sure be nice to see a really good rain set-up! Not exactly something I am seeinf in this 7-Day Forecast.
I'll have a bigger, better, and uncut update Tuesday night!
C-Ya Bye
