Tornado-ravaged Texas town to start recovery

I have had a few emails come my way that ask, "Why another Freeze Watch?" or "How many Frost Advisories do we have to have?" Well I am going to throw out another term here... Freeze Warning! That's what we are under now. Those Frost Advisories usually aren't cold enough to put the kibosh on the growing season. It's those nights where we see temps dip into the 20s for several hours that take care of that. Another way to end it would mean a visit from this guy...

MR FREEZE!!!!!!
The high elevations in eatern Kentucky we visited by him on Tuesday morning. There was some snow accumulation high atop Black Mountain and a couple of other locations.
| Location | Snowfall Accumulation |
| Black Mountain | 2.20" |
| Kingdom Come | 2" |
| Closplint | 1.5" |
Each of those lcations is at least a couple thousand feet above sea level. Black Mountain, according to wikipedia and a couple of other sites, highest peak sits at 4,145ft so that just goes to show you where you needed to be to get a hold of some nice accumulating snow.
The next few days for us will be just like many days over the last few weeks... DRY!!!! The overall temperature trend is actually trying to put us more on the warm side as well. Daytime highs look like they will dwell in the mid 60s beginning Thursday and lasting through next week. Wednesday will stay on the chilly side with highs only in the low to mid 50s.
I'll have some more for you coming up on Wednesday!
C-Ya Bye
