US gas prices up 11 cents over past 2 weeks

I certainly hope all of you got out on the gorgeous Election Day and took part in our democracy at work. I voted absentee last Friday due to the long hours we spend here on Election Day. So I did not get the chance to enjoy all of the sunshine that many of you did. Now that the election is over I guess we all get back to talking about the weather rather than politics right? hahaha
A real good shot of cold air is coming our way this weekend. Usually when we have a transition like this we get some rainfall. There is that chance out there, but this go around isn't looking very impressive at all. Sure we'll see some shower activity around the region, but not enough to get excited about. The only thing to get excited about will be the cold temps and I am pretty sure many of you are like me and you'd rather have a couple more days like the ones we have seen here lately. Daytime highs will fall from the mid 70 range all the way down to the mid 40 range.
Here's a look at Thursday's highs. Friday will be a day of transition so highs will still be warm, but not nearly what they will be on Thursday. Again, highs around 70!

Now for a look at Saturday. That shade of green indicates the 45-50 degree area for afternoon highs.

So there's some real weather change coming for us!
