Investigators 'zeroing in' on Colorado wildfire start
Posted: 11:46 PM - Sheriff's officials say they have now recorded more than 500 homes leveled by the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history.
It appears that the bulk of any accumulation will occur in the higher elevations. The rest of us could very well be in for some light accumulations. If it isn't completely like winter out there it will certainly feel that way. Snow, wind, and cold will be a common site to see here Sunday-Tuesday.
One of the latest snow graphics that I have seen shows what the likely accumulation will be around here. Also, remember these are models that I use here. When I don't include one in this forecast that usually means that I don't agree with what the model is saying and I write totals in text as opposed to the graphical representation. I like to see them when I actually agree with the data that comes out. This image is one that I think will be close! After using some of the snow accumulation total formulas I then check what the models say and either agree, disagree, or convert the two.

The bulk of he snowfall will happen on Monday. A lot of factors will cut into the totals so I will be keeping them rather low!
I'll have more updates if things begin to change.
