US gas prices up 11 cents over past 2 weeks
Posted: 3:41 PM - The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped 11 cents over the past two weeks.
At midnight or sometime soon after... highs will be recorded for Thursday. Temps fall all day long thanks to a cold front that moves across Kentucky.
Here's the way it all plays out. The mild air that built in here on Wednesday gets kicked right out the door on Thursday with the big cold air mass that is on the move. Highs from Wednesday to Friday will drop around 20 degrees. That is basically the way temps stay for most of the upcoming 7-Day Forecast.
During the change from the mild stuff to the cold stuff we will see some rain and eventually that rain becomes snow. During the afternoon hours or possibly a little bit earlier should be the time frame for the change over. Don't expect this to be a major snow maker or anything close to that. The size of where the snow bands will not be very broad. It gets in and out within a few hours. Basically, this becomes one of those wet and nuisance deals.
The weekend will also feature some snow shower activity. I will be watching a system for next week very closely for decent development and snow potential. Right now this is strictly speculation! More to come on that!!!!!
