Quick Post

I am going to quickly address the Winter Weather Advisory and some flooding issues that are ongoing. FULL POST LATER

I apologize for a lack of a post yesterday... it is hard to get back in the swing of things after a week off. Here's what we have for tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory runs through 10am on Thursday for Bell-Floyd-Harlan-Knott-Leslie- Letcher-Perry-Pike Counties.

Most areas will see snow tonight, but these areas will likely experience the most accumulation. The higher elevations Could see up to 3inches of snow. While most areas will be somewhere in between an inch to 2 inches. Counties not included in the advisory could pick-up a dusting or up to 1 inch. This is my first trick situation since being back so I haven't folled the developments with this as closely as I could have. Though I feel pretty confident about the totals I mentioned above.

Flood Warnings are also posted for Whitley County & Owsley County. Whitley County will be under a Flood Warning until late Friday night. There are concerns for some minor flooding along the Cumberland River near Williamsburg. It's mainly for low lying areas or quite simply those spots that everyone knows to be flood prone areas. The same thing for the South Fork of the KY River in Booneville. This warning doesn't last as long it only runs through Thursday morning. So any low lying/flood prone areas could have some high water issues.

I'll have more details coming up later tonight!

C-Ya Bye
