Eastern Kentucky Weather

Brrrrrr

No need for a fancy title... that says everything that needs to be said now doesn't it?!?!?!

I hope you are fairing well in this extremely cold weather. My lips are so dry right now that I am afraid to move them because of the constant threat of cracking. That's got more to do with the dryness... but anyway... Temps are cold!

My final projection for lows hasn't changed from any other post this week. I am still saying a general low of around 2 degrees. Now some folks might touch the 0 mark or below that for a little while. But for an average all over eastern Kentucky I think 2 above zero is my best option. With the winds it could feel closer to 15 below from time to time. That's what will really rock your socks! Or freeze them to your feet... whichever comes first! Friday's highs will be impressive and by impressive I mean COLD! Most locations will top out around 15 degrees. This is the same old song and dance that I have mentioned in each post this week. I am actually glad that we are finally getting it over with so we can switch gears a little bit!

NWS Folks have issued a wind chill advisory  for all of eastern Kentucky.
