Northern Kentucky sheriff making big changes
5 mins ago - A northern Kentucky sheriff has made some big changes during his first few months in office.
This ended up being a pretty good forecast for the old man here. Yes.. I am bragging! Yes... I am happy! Don't ruin this with your mean comments. They'll only get deleted ;) My first post that indicated this could happen was on either Thursday or Friday. I didn't dwell on it very long in the posts due to the overwhelming cold that had a stranglehold on the region. From what I can tell most areas had anywhere between 1" and 3" with some skecthy details coming in from the highest elevations. Though one report I heard was 4.5" All well within the curve!
If you are hoping for more snow... I am afraid you are out of luck! This pattern will slowly begin to get milder and milder. By the time the week's end has arrived we could be staring at thermometers in the upper 30s and possibly the 40s. We could even see a chance of rain come our way! Rain with some snow towrds the end... but a cold rain nontheless. Basically, the next few days should be fairly calm.
Many of you sent in some pics to me and I am showing them off right here. I don't like to pick favorites, but I do have a favorite that I will include for the end of the post.

Jared & Kayla Lowe In Meta, KY. I used this on air and said the snowman looked like Brian Milam. I still think it looks like him!

Emily & Marlee Baker of Whitesburg, KY. These girls didn't have a lot of snow so they got creative and here's what you see! Icicle Art

Kenzie Jude making a snow angel in Inez.

Kiarra, Kenzie, & Shyanna Jude enjoying the snow from Martin County, KY.
Courtney & Sissy in Harlan, KY

This is a beautiful postcard image that is good enough for postcard. Teresa Conley from Paintsville, KY sent this one in to us!
Brandy From Elkhorn City. This is a beautiful, magnificent, wonderful, & amazing scene! For obvious reasons!
This one is my favorite out of all... why?!?!? The sign these kids made is spectacular! If you can't see it above then look below! The little kiddies in this one are Lyndsey Horn (left), Colin Horn (center), and Alissa Preece (right) enjoying the snow in Inez, Ky

Thanks to all that sent in pics in this go around. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the next round. WHENEVER THAT MIGHT BE!!!
