Winter Storm Watch

Posted: Sun 3:32 PM, Jan 25, 2009

I have emphasized that a mess is on the way for us and now a winter storm watch has been issued.

"Borderline feels like Im going to lose my mind... You just keep on pushing my love over the borderline" Borderline by Madonna. I am not a huge fan but when I started to right this all I could think of is how some of us will be on the border of snow, ice, rain... and geese...lol  Seriousy, even at this point there is a great deal of uncertainty.

From what I have seen it looks like this will start out with a mix and then possibly changing over to... either rain or snow! It's all going to depend on the exact track of this system. We'll see a couple of waves that move either over Kentucky or just to the south. It is still a very hard call to make! We have to potential to see up to 5" or 6" of snow or a healthy accumulation of ice. I won't comment just yet on the specifics. Maybe in a post later tonight.

This all begins early Tuesday. The watch begins Monday evening and you see here below the counties that are included in the watch. Basically, everyb

I'll have more later.
