Cleveland lands another Hollywood film shoot
Posted: 2:05 PM - Cleveland has landed another Hollywood film shoot and it could mean delays for motorists.
All I can say about this warm-up is that it is about time! All of these wintry systems have made me a little tired of snowfall forecasts. I have nearly fallen out of love with the white stuff. I know we have all heard the excuse at some point in our lives from a girlfriend or boyfriend... "We just need time a part" In reality that always meant (in my own personal cases) "What I really want to do is test the waters with someone else and leave you here to fall back on" So I had a long chat with the snow and I said "Snow... I think we need time away from each other" what I really meant was "Let me see how this thing with the mild temps and sunshine works out. I'll probably be begging you back before you even knew I was gone!"
Since things are slowly calming down around here I think I will keep this rather brief and simple.
A warm front will begin swinging across Kentucky on Friday. This associated with a pretty strong area of high pressure will work together to bring the air from the south. The southerly winds will warm things up into the mid and upper 40s on Friday. Maybe even the low 50s for southern Kentucky where snow was a little more limited. Saturday looks to be quite possibly the best day coming our way. Partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 50s.
Temps will stay warm all week next week. What could keep us inside and way from the warm temps could be the rain chances. We might even see some thunderstorms show up here in eastern Kentucky.
Now... let my affair with mild temps begin! It will be like a spring fling or something!
Fun stuff: This is still in the works and the details need some fine tuning.. but... I could be playing basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters coming up in April! Isn't that exciting??!?!?!? I am terrible, but I could be right there with them when they come to Corbin.
I'll keep you up-to-date on that
C-Ya Bye
