A line of very strong storms has moved across the region. It produced wind speeds up to 70mph as it raced across Kentucky at the same speed.
We have received damage reports from one end of our coverage area to the other. Trees down... roofs blown off... RV's overturned... I mean we had a real mess on our hands. Some that just recently got power back have lost it again! Severe weather never comes at a good time... but this was truly a terrible time! We did have a few Tornado Warnings issued for numerous counties. There have been damage reports in those counties so now we wait until assessment teams review these areas to truly make a determination.
One thing for sure is that we had a heck of a lot of wind blow through here.
