Snow Accumulates In The Mountains

Posted: Sun 2:57 PM, Feb 22, 2009

As mentioned on Friday... accumulating snow has appeared all across eastern Kentucky.

The NWS issued a Winter Weather Advisory on Saturday night. I feel asleep before they issued the advisory so you guys didn't get an update. Why did I fall asleep so early?!?!? I was where you should have been on Saturday. At the WYMT Home & Garden show...lol...

The snow will begin to taper off later on Sunday evening. Total accumulations will range from 1" to 3" for most locations. This just goes to show you that even with warm temps in the area for a brief moment that it can snow & accumulate. The coldest air has also found its way back to eastern Kentucky.

I'll have more details coming up later!
