It was a good run... highs in the 60s and 70s! I had a touch of spring fever and I didn't want to to anything but find a way to get outside. I am sure many of you felt the same way. We will have one more day where temps will soar into the 70s, but the end is coming to a forecast near you!
If there is something you want to do outside this week and you want warm temps to do it in... then Tuesday will be your last really good chance. Afternoon highs will likely touch the mid 70s. There will probably be a few clouds out there, but nothing to really prevent the highs from falling too much on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, it gets a little tricky for the high. I am watching a cold front coming from the west. It will be the cause for our fall from Spring. The models are just off with timing the front. That will make a huge difference in how high temps will go if there isn't a lot of cloud cover or rain. Both will be coming eventually!
Rainfall here in the NAM has light rain in eastern Kentucky around lunch time. That would keeps temps quite a bit cooler!
GFS is a little slower and has some heavier rain associated with it here. The temp data suggests highs would remain in the 60s for early that day, but if the front hasn't pushed the rain in here I think we can surpass that!
Bottom line... enjoy your Tuesday becuase highs past Wednesday will fall back into the 40s!
