Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
Posted: 06/18/2013 - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
After that excellent stretch of super nice weather... we are now heading into a period of some much cooler weather. As a matter of fact, average fall in temps from Tuesday to Wednesday was 30-35 degrees. This won't stick around long, but it really doesn't have to... the cold will be here long enough to mix with some moisture and that could mean snow!
Starting on Thursday afternoon... we could begin to see rain and snow populating the region. Some of the snow has the potential to accumulate. That's right... ACCUMULATE! Different weather world out there for a couple of days! It could start out as a period of rain and sleet. It will make a transition over to all snow. Some of the heaviest snow looks to hang out right along I-64.
I'd say accumulations anywhere between 1-3" could be possible in that general area. The rest of us could see up to 1" of accumulation. Our in house RPM model seems to have the best handle on this situation. That's what I will be courting heavily through this event. Unless... it gives me a reason to throw it our the window! That could happen! I'll have more info coming up later!
