Metro-North: Conn. train outage expected for days
Posted: 12:48 PM - The Metro-North commuter rail line says crews will spend days rebuilding 2,000 feet of track, overhead wires and signals damaged in a derailment and crash in Connecticut.
We are all going to see some of this mess! That's what it is... just a solid mess! After seeing this one in action and all the sleet associated with this system... I am going to have to up the totals! These totals are for sleet & snow TOTAL Accumulation! Not just for one or the other.
The rate that this stuff is coming down has been pretty heavy and it has been constant! I was actually a little impressed with the way the sleet began accumulating on the ground outside. This has the potential to dump a healthy dose of both sleet and snow. I am going to stretch this image a bit so it will look a little distorted!

There could even be some higher amounts in some isolated locations. I think this general 2-4" swath will cover most of you!
I'll have another update in the morning... I will be back in doing the AM weather!
