Missing Kentucky man found
Posted: 05/25/2013 - Some good news tonight for the family of a Kentucky man that's been missing for more than two weeks.
With the month of April right here upon us most people would tend to think that the end of cold air should be here. If you went by normal highs and lows I guess that makes sense. As we know... weather doesn't care about average highs & lows. Weather will throw all of that out the window and re-write history every single time the chance is out there!
This first part of April will be a familiar one. Just like March... it looks as if we are going to see temps travel up & down. There could be such a surge that temps will once again be found dwelling in the 70s for afternoon highs. This probably happens on Thursday. Wednesday was a day that I really felt would stay wet... at least in the beginning! Now I am not so sure that it will be very wet at all! There will probably be some shower activity around, but I am not tremendously concerned with those issues!
Temps will take a hit on Firday. After seeing highs in the 70s the day before... those nice warm temps will be out of the region rather quickly for Friday afternoon. Highs will fall into the low and mid 50s. This isn't a cold air mass for highs... but at night we could see temps dive back down into the 30s.
I know this forecast iis kind of dull compared to the sports forecast that spells John Calipari! Don't forget you can find out all kinds of great info right here on wymtnews.com
Speaking of basketball... not only will our new pal Cal be taking center stage with b-ball action... this old cat right here will be doing the same! I mentioned a couple f months ago that I would be playing against the Globetrotters in Corbin! That day is coming very soon my friends... April 19th - 2pm at The SE Kentucky Agriculture & Expo Center in Corbin!
