One injured after shots fired in Owsley County
3 mins ago - Blanton says it is an ongoing investigation, but they believe it was a neighbor dispute.
In all seriousness, the air we see on Thursday could house a little more instability that could lead to some strong or even severe storms in parts of Kentucky. The rain chances won't occur until later on in the day. Probably in the evening!
Warm front brings a big push of warmth and moisture to Kentucky. This will allow highs to climb into the 70s for most locations around southern & eastern Kentucky. As a decently strengthened low gets closer it will add a few more characteristics needed to form some stronger storms or severe storms.

By Friday daytime highs will fall into the 50s again. That brings us back to normal!
Now... something I will be discussing a little more in the future will be how cold it could get at the beginning of next week. The data keeps suggesting that highs will only be in the 30s with lows in the 20s. So far... I haven't budged! If it keeps painting this picture I might have to jump right in there. It also shows some moisture in the area at the same time that the cold air is here. Hmmm.... wonder what that could mean? LOL
