Ky. to receive $6 million from online gambling case
Posted: 11:53 PM - Gov. Steve Beshear says Kentucky will receive a settlement of more than $6 million from a case involving online gambling.
As long as the clouds and rain are here in eastern Kentucky we'll have to deal with these cooler temps. That's been a given for the last two weeks. The pattern we have out there this week is very similar to last week's set-up.
On Wednesday, the clouds may begin to slip out of our southern KY counties. When that happens... locations like Somerset, London, Williamsburg, and Middlesboro will see sunshine and that will lead to a quicker recovery into the 60s. That means that one part of our region could be stuck in the 50s... those places like Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Pikeville, and Salyersville. This will be the last day like this I see in the entire 7-Day Forecast.
Thursday features more sunshine and some much warmer temperatures. This will be the first day I think we all get out of the cloud deck and into the mid and upper 60s. Maybe even into the low 70s.
Then there is Friday... OH SWEET FRIDAY!!! Highs in the low 80s! That lasts throughout the weekend!
The pattern stays pretty stubborn through the middle part of next week. Several systems will make runs at Kentucky, but none of them will actually make it here. Each will be redirected to the north of Kentucky. This will be one of the best runs of calm weather we have had in quite some time!
Now for some pics from the outhouse race. It's hard to see me, but I am pushing the one on the left from behind

It was a very close race, but we did win the head-to-head race against East Kentucky Boradcasting. It was only a second... you know what they say a win by 1 second is don't you?!?!?!?!? It's a win of course! LOL

This is my only highlight from the Globetrotter game. This is right before I made one freethrow...lol
