Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
2 mins ago - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
If you got out and about on Tuesday afternoon you quickly realized that it was hot... but not that humid! When I stepped out to grab a bite to eat for dinner Tuesday evening it felt AWESOME!!!!!! This will be short lived! I just read that last sentence again and I realized that I dwell on the negative...lol... When that's the biggest game around you have too!
The heat builds in from the southwest and will interact the the moisture right over Kentucky. This peaks toward the end of the week. So up until around Thursday I am thinking it will remain fairly comfortable during the hottest point of the day!
That same moisture will lead to some scattered showers & storms for our region. Once that daily threat arrives... it sticks with us from that point until deep into next week. I wouldn't cancel any outdoor plans because of the rain threat... I'd just roll with the punches! It doesn't look like any of the mess will stay around too awfully long!
Highs will approach the 90 degree mark each and every single day in the 7-Day Forecast.
