Slowly but surely the afternoon high temps will climb back into the upper 80s and low 90s. Daytime highs will shoot back up the thermometer beginning on Wednesday.
The southerly winds will begin picking back up and throwing the hottest air into Kentucky. At the same time... the juice will begin to thicken back up in the air. So heat and humidity get back together. By the time the weekend rolls around... highs are well into the 90s and the comfort from last week will be a distant memory. Last week had me thinking of fall and now you'll find me wishing for it again!
As far as the rain chances are concerned... I won't rule out an isolated shower this week. The better chances for showers & storms really won't arrive until this weekend. The chances won't be off the charts just higher than what they have been!
