Many probably didn't notice but some probably did... the humidity was just a touch higher on Wednesday. I mentioned in my last post that we could see that climb each day this week. Sometimes it just takes an extra day or two before it really becomes noticable. So on Thursday we'll really get the feeling of the humidity.
A storm system will begin to push through parts of Kentucky on Thursday. The leading edge of this system begins with a warm front. That warm front will lift through on Thursday and opens the door for the increased humidity and the heat. What we are slowly seeing right now is just the early stages of this warm-up.
Keep in mind that an isolated threat of a stray shower will be in the region. An area of low pressure sitting to our south could throw some moisture in our general direction. This could mean stray showers on Thursday. The odds are stacked against that happening, but just remember that it could happen.
The better chances for rain won't be here until the weekend. An actual cold front will slip into Kentucky on Satuday night into Sunday and bring more organized showers & storms into our area.
