One Of A Few Summer Spells

This summer has been pretty cool. The end of this week/weekend has all kinds of potential!

If you are like me you probably don't really care that it has been a really cool summer. Personally, I would rather temps stay in the 70s year round, but professionally I'd like to see the heat make it back to Kentucky.

By this weekend it looks like we will get our heat back. Some of the data has been indicating that we'll see temps climb into the low to mid 90s. I haven't been sold on that just yet. It has been pretty wet here this season and there is a lot of moisture that could come into the equation. That moisture could hold temps down through evaporational cooling. I'll just go with the upper 80s for the weekend. Mid 80s will lead us into the weekend.

Rain chances have been pushed up until Monday... so that means an enjoyable weekend could be coming our way. That is if you don't mind the heat.

Before I went on staycation I posted a blog about 90 degree days and all that jazz. For some reason, when I got back in the habit this week, I forgot to post July's stats since they were so impressive. This is courtesy of the NWS!
