Heat Will Be In & Out

The heat was a little more noticeable on Tuesday and you will find it a little easier to notice on Wednesday. This will be a shortlived thing!

It's not like we are going to see significant heat out there this week. I am thinking we'll peak in the upper 80s perhaps low 90s in some southern Kentucky areas. You might begin to feel a little more humidity also!

The next chance of rain will probably be here by Thursday. At that time it looks like most of the rain will be widely scattered. By the time Friday rolls around the showers will become more widespread. The reason those shower chances go up will be tied to a cold front that will be interacting with some of the moisture positioned over Kentucky.

That same front will bring some cooler & drier air into Kentucky. Some data is trying to pull highs down into the low 70s or maybe even the upper 60s. This data set also suggests that lows could dip into the 40s.

I'll have more later
